Oregon’s Rogue Valley wine is bucking the industry downturn
Oregon's Rogue Valley is standing out from the broader US wine industry downturn, becoming the only region in the state to grow winegrape production and harvested acres in 2025. The region was recently voted America's top wine destination to visit by USA Today, up from runner-up the previous year. Industry leaders credit the region's success to improved wine quality over the past decade, exceptional terroir diversity that allows production of 70+ different varieties, and changing climate conditions that are lengthening the growing season and enabling better fruit development.
