Key week for Bordeaux en primeurs as pace quickens
The 2025 Bordeaux en primeur campaign is picking up pace this week after a slower May, with major châteaux releasing their wines. Mouton Rothschild led the charge with a highly rated vintage priced at €300 per bottle, up from last year's €252, whilst La Mission Haut-Brion showed restraint by pricing at similar levels to 2024. The campaign should wrap up within two to three weeks, giving industry watchers a clearer picture of how the market is receiving this vintage as UK merchants stock up at competitive prices.
