First British-made sparkling wine bottle enters production as English and Welsh wine sector continues to grow

British winemakers have hit a new milestone with the launch of the country's first domestically-produced sparkling wine bottles. Croxsons, a 150-year-old packaging specialist, is now manufacturing bottles specifically for the UK wine industry, marking a significant step forward as English and Welsh vineyards continue to flourish with over 1,000 vineyards and 200 wineries now operating across the regions. It's a sign that Britain's wine sector is maturing and investing in its own supply chains.
