Latest figures show decline for French organic drinks
France's organic wine sales dipped 2.4% in 2025, bucking three years of growth and marking the only decline across the entire organic food and drink sector. The contraction is hitting hardest in two major regions: Nouvelle-Aquitaine saw organic producer numbers drop by 13%, whilst Occitanie, which produces more wine than any other French region, shed 11% of its organically certified vineyards. However, it's not all bad news, with smaller regions like Normandy and Brittany posting strong gains in organic vineyard expansion.
