Breaky Bottom, one of England’s oldest and most revered vineyards, goes on sale for first time

Breaky Bottom Vineyard, one of England's most celebrated wine estates and a true pioneer of the modern English wine industry, has gone on the market for the first time since its founding in 1974. The Sussex vineyard, famous for its sparkling wines served at royal occasions and the London Olympics, is being sold following the death of founder Peter Hall and carries a £4 million guide price. The estate's sale marks a significant moment for English wine as the sector continues its remarkable growth from just seven vineyards in the 1970s to over 1,300 today.
