Bordeaux: Vineyard prices are collapsing massively - Sales fall below three million hectoliters for the first time in decades

Bordeaux is facing a serious downturn. Vineyard prices have crashed by nearly 82% since 2018 in the Médoc region, with even prestigious appellations like Pauillac, Margaux and Saint-Émilion affected. At the same time, overall sales volumes have fallen below 3 million hectolitres for the first time in decades, suggesting the region's troubles run deeper than temporary market weakness.
