Palestinian winemaking is expanding into the UK market with chef Fadi Kattan's new import business, Nabeeth Wine and Spirits, launching a retail website and supplying independent wine shops this year. Despite significant production challenges in the occupied West Bank, a handful of Palestinian producers including Taybeh Winery are making high-quality wines, with Kattan positioning them as excellent products first rather than a political cause. The UK wine trade is seeing a fresh source of distinctive wines alongside growing awareness of Palestine's ancient viticultural heritage.
