US expansion boosts Chapel Down sales
Chapel Down, England's largest winemaker, has reported a 19% jump in net sales revenue to £9.4m for the first half of 2026. The standout performer was international sales, which surged 66% as the producer expanded into three new markets and landed a major distribution deal with Jackson Family Wines in the US, now stocked in 250 Whole Foods stores across 31 states. The company also extended its lead in the English sparkling wine category, which itself grew at double-digit rates.
