Majestic doubles down on stores with £4m investment plan
Majestic Wine is backing physical retail with a £4 million investment plan for the current financial year, opening at least four new stores including a branch in Trowbridge, Wiltshire. Since separating from Naked Wines and joining Fortress Investment Group in 2019, the chain has opened more than 25 stores across the UK and refurbished dozens more. The investment underscores the company's confidence in experiential retail, with stores offering wine tastings, expert WSET-trained staff and services like wedding consultations and next-day delivery.
