English and Welsh 2025 wine harvest delivers ‘ripest fruit ever’
English and Welsh vineyards have just had their best harvest on record – literally the ripest fruit they've ever produced. With the driest summer helping growers pick three weeks earlier than usual and total volumes hitting 15-16 million bottles (second-largest ever), WineGB is reporting the sector's confidence is properly justified, especially with exports up 35% and overall growth climbing to 9% over five years.
